ABOUT

Mariana Lourenço graduated with a BA in fashion business and started her career in São Paulo freelancing for lifestyle and fashion magazines. In 2011 she moved to London to study a Master’s Degree at London College of Fashion where she graduated with distinction on the MA Fashion Media Production course.

There she completed an internship at Wonderland magazine and worked as a freelance assistant for renowned stylists Caroline Newell, William Gilchrist, Mel Ottenberg and Cathy Kasterine among others. Mariana has had the opportunity to work on shoots for titles such as Vogue US, L’UOMO Vogue, I-D Magazine, T:The New York Times Style, as well as a few campaigns and celebrities like Rihanna and Jude Law. She also did many independent projects, including styling for Mariana Jungmann first pieces and Catherine Wales’ 3D pieces; which were later selected as a campaign for the University of the Arts London.

Back in Brazil in 2013 she freelanced for Brazilian magazines Glamour and Vogue among others titles and brands. She then took part on the costume design team of ‘Geração Brasil’ soap opera produced by TV Globo, the second largest tv network and the largest producer of telenovelas in the world. In 2015 she started working with the Hip Hop trio Pearls Negras, she styled them for two music videos and their Europe Tour which included a presentation at Glastonbury Festival.

Currently based in Berlin she dedicates her time to the creative direction and styling of her own digital magazine – Stories Collective. She is also available for freelance work.

Mariana worked with many renowned photographers such as David Titlow, Eudes de Santana, Tinko Czetwertynski, Christopher Wohlfahrt, Marc Hibbert, Federico Ferrari, Cassia Tabatini, Pablo Saborido, Gustavo Ipólito, Bex Day, Christine Kreiselmaier among others.

Mariana Lourenço graduou-se em Negócios da Moda e começou sua carreira em São Paulo como produtora de moda e assistente em revistas de moda e lifestyle. Em 2011 mudou-se para Londres para fazer um Mestrado na London College of Fashion, onde ela se graduou com distinção no curso MA Fashion Media Production.

Em Londres ela completou um estágio na revista Wonderland, e teve a oportunidade de trabalhar como assistente freelancer de stylists renomados como Caroline Newell, William Gilchrist, Mel Ottenberg and Cathy Kasterine entre outros. Mariana participou de produções para títulos como Vogue US, L’UOMO Vogue, I-D Magazine, T:The New York Times Style, além de algumas campanhas e celebridades como Rihanna e Jude Law. Lá ela também desenvolveu vários projetos independentes incluindo o styling das primeiras peças de Mariana Jungmann e as peças 3D da designer Catherine Wales; fotos que depois foram selecionadas como a campanha 2014 da University of the Arts London.  

De volta ao Brasil em 2013 produziu editoriais para as revistas Vogue, Glamour, Capricho e Gloss e trabalhou  como figurinista assistente de Gogoia Sampaio na pré-produção da novela Geração Brasil da TV Globo. Em 2015, Mariana começou a trabalhar com a banda Pearls Negras e fez o styling para dois video clipes e acompanhou parte da turnê pela Europa, incluindo a apresentação no Glastonbury Festival.

Atualmente Mariana vive em Berlim onde dedica seu tempo a direção criativa de sua revista online -  Stories Collective. Ela também está disponível para trabalhos freelances.
